Job Description

As Photometry Project Leader, you will be responsible of the development of optical buildings blocks and its integration inside a luminaire.

You will report to the Electronic & Lighting Manager of the R&D department.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible of the R&D optical projects
    • Pre-study (market analysis, creation of technical specifications)
    • Design of optical systems based on CAO integrable in a luminaire
    • Sub-contracting development monitoring
    • Optical validation with measurements and improvement of real parts quality
  • Collaboration to lighting software’s development with IT department
    • Pre-study, specification definition
    • Debug & improvement
  • Project Management
    • Planning creation and monitoring
    • Commitment on deliverables
    • Reporting
  • Expertise and support to
    • team, the purchase department, local sales entities & customers, Legal & IP team and new photometry team members as optical building blocks expert.
    • Seminars (as onlooker but also as speaker for internal seminars)
  • Responsible or participant to research projects with universities and research centers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Applied Sciences or Sciences or Engineering (Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Industrial Designer, Industrial Engineer)
  • Autonomous , Rigorous, Creativity, Good communication skills, Team spirit
  • Knowledge in optics is an asset
  • CAO, mechanics or electronics abilities can be advantageous
  • Language : English (B2 Min), French
